My name is Tawnya and I have been in the senior care industry for over 20 years, at Point Defiance Village we are an all-inclusive Independent Living Community, occasionally our residents or potential residents meet with me to seek what is their next step when making a move whether they need more care than what is available at our community or we are simply not a good fit for them I want to know that I can get them that compassionate assistance in helping them find somewhere that is, I have been working with Lori Marsh at Restoring Hope for three years now and she is very compassionate and dedicated in finding the best new home for seniors....the folks I have sent to her have praised her on how wonderful she was to work with and took the time to make them feel comfortable and at ease in such a tough transition.

Lori, you do a GREAT job and I commend you for what you are doing. I don't know if you knew that my late husband had Alzheimer's and was in a "facility" not as nice as what you are doing, however, you are SO right about NOT moving them because of the confusion. My hubby ended up believing that he lived alone in an apartment and actually had a girlfriend who lived down the street (actually the hallway) and was very happy.
